About GlobalStats.info
GlobalStats.info helps readers explore country-level statistics, compare economies and populations, and understand how measurements differ across sources and years.
What we publish
Pages combine rankings, maps, country profiles and comparisons. A ranking includes countries for which the underlying source provides a usable value; missing values and regional aggregates are excluded rather than estimated.
How to read the data
βLatestβ means the most recent observation available for each country in the displayed dataset. It does not mean every value was measured in the current calendar year. Where available, pages show the observation period, source and import date separately.
Sources and limitations
We use publicly available datasets from organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, United Nations, ILO, ITU and other specialist publishers. Each source has its own methodology, release calendar, territorial coverage and revision policy. Values are presented for research and comparison, not as financial, legal, medical or policy advice.
Read the data methodology for the inclusion, freshness and citation rules used on the site.
